This season, a host of luxury houses and small designers opted to diverge from the formal runway shows that traditionally dominate New York Fashion Week programming. Instead, the likes of Boucheron, LOEWE, KidSuper, and Bvlgari organized intimate dinners and elaborate installations, granting guests a new way to interact with their collections.

Guests including Elizabeth Gillies, Anna Van Patten, and Erinn Westbrook donned Markarian dresses while trying on the new line of feminine heels and sandals.
Boucheron Takes to the Upper East Side to Honor First American Boutique
Last night, Boucheron honored the opening of its first New York City boutique with a star-studded party at the Cooper Hewitt, Smithsonian Design Museum. The evening also unveiled a multi-day installation, “From Paris to New York: A Cutting-Edge Journey Since 1858,” which immerses viewers in the Maison’s 166-year history. Guests included Gwenyth Paltrow, Colman Domingo, and brand ambassadors Alexa Chung and MINA, all of whom adorned Boucheron gems. The milestone occasion also included an intimate performance from musician Leon Bridges.
Saks and LOEWE Commemorate New York City Flagship Takeover
LOEWE creative director Jonathan Anderson and Saks Chief Merchandising Officer Tracy Margolies hosted an intimate dinner on the rooftop of Pace Gallery over the weekend, toasting to the brands’ new partnership. Guests took in the sunset during cocktail hour before indulging in a three-course meal by Chef August Johnson of One White Street, served amidst whimsical tablescapes of vegetables and fruit reminiscent of the motifs to be found throughout LOEWE’s Fall/Winter 2024 collection.
An exclusive edit of the collection is available online and in person at Saks now. LOEWE has also taken over Saks’ New York flagship in celebration of the collaboration, lining its walls with towering vegetable sculptures and the label’s beaded handbags.

KidSuper Unveils New Collection During Comedy Show at the Apollo Theater
In 2023, KidSuper made waves at Paris Fashion Week by hosting a trailblazing one-hour comedy show. The label brought that same energy to New York this season, asking comedians Sam Morril and Jeff Arcuri to perform at the Apollo Theater in Harlem. The community-driven gathering reflected founder Colm Dillane’s ethos: it was light-hearted and playful, devoid of the self-seriousness that characterizes much of New York Fashion Week. Performers casually showcased the label’s new collection, from classic streetwear to animated tailoring and coats.
Bvlgari Brings the Stars to Brooklyn
To kick off New York Fashion Week, Bvlgari Studio invited celebrities including Naomi Campbell, Dakota Johnson, and Paris Jackson to the rooftop of the historic Domino Sugar Factory in Williamsburg. The party was a celebration of the new Bvlgari Tubogas collection, a line of shimmering yellow-gold bracelets and necklaces that elevate the Maison’s signature goldsmithing technique. Guests enjoyed a performance by the futuristic musician Masego and DJ sets from Nancy Whang of LCD Soundsystem and Myles Hendrik. A kinetic light sculpture by Christopher Bauder was on display, mimicking the gold stripes and spirals of the Maison’s new collection.

Old Navy and The Cut joined forces for a ‘90s throwback party at Webster Hall on Monday, celebrating the clothing brand’s 30th anniversary and the magazine’s first-ever solo print issue (a special collector’s issue timed to New York Fashion Week). Alongside performances from HANSON and Ja Rule, guests were encouraged to look through the ‘94 Reissue, a limited-edition capsule collection pulled from Old Navy’s archive. Zac Posen, Lindsay Peoples, David Haskell, Candace Bushnell, and Paris Jackson were among the event’s VIP guests.
