Homme Plissé Issey Miyake

In July 2019, Homme Plissé Issey Miyake opened in the heart of the Aoyama neighborhood. The store’s concept conveys the excitement of monozukuri no gemba—”making things.” For the very first time, the shop features pleating machine, pressing, and sewing machines, as found in its factory. Also on displayis the brand’s unique garment pleating method, seihin pleats. Also available exclusively to this store are limited-edition long-sleeve t-shirt styles under the “COLORS” title in ten shades, all made by the pleating machine located in the store.

Whitewaller recommends: Exploring other limited products with different color combinations and the brand’s latest collection.
