Wish You Were Here

Anat Ebgi’s Wilshire Boulevard location is presenting “Wish You Were Here,” an exhibition contemplating daily life, the realm of the psyche, and the slippery quality of reality through work by five artists. Open through September 11, the show includes a vibrant range of works like Caroline Walker’s portraits, which blur the lines between public and private; scenes from the surrealist world of Alejandro Cardenas; paintings calling on imagery from Soumya Netrabile’s nature walks; works meant to invite the viewer to reflect on their own oddities by Hernan Bas; and Hulda Guzmán’s whimsical imagery that blends fantasy and reality.
