Hermès: Collections for the Home

Katy Donoghue

10 September 2021

The debut of Hermès’s 2021—2022 “Collections for the home” highlights the language of touch and physicality through a celebration of textures. Raw, natural materials like cashmere felt, cut stone, and leather have been painted in a cheerful-yet-sophisticated palette of colors like red, orange, blue, teal, and mustard yellow, filling your space with furniture and objects that are both beautiful and pleasing to touch. A few collection highlights include the Hippomobile set of cups, saucers, and teaware featuring playful abstract and equestrian imagery by Gianpaolo Pagni and the wicker and leather Chromatic baskets, which feature a juxtaposition of textures.
