Annina Roescheisen: Vibrational Strings

Pearl Fontaine

11 October 2021

London’s Boogie-wall Gallery is presenting an exhibition of the German artist Annina Roescheisen until December 20. Following Roescheisen’s ongoing exploration of the effects of imperceptible elements on our physicality and emotions, the presentation features a suite of nine new artworks from the Vibrational Strings series. Impeccably detailed compositions imagined in mixed media and ink, these new works are centered around a physical process, where the artist’s body responds to its environment and visual stimuli, layering markings both wildly gestural and meticulously intentional.
