Within the Margulies Collection at the Warehouse, viewers will find a selection of seasonal and permanent programming encompassing works from the collection. Among these single works and exhibitions are “Arte Povera: Postwar Italian Art from the Margulies Collection”; Anselm Kiefer’s largest exhibition in the United States, including a new acquisition titled Leviathan und Behemoth (2 x 5 Aufnahmen); an installation by Susan Philipsz titled Sleep Close and Fast; and Will Ryman’s The Situation Room, made about the covert Navy Seal Operation that led to the killing of Osama bin Laden. Viewers will also find “New Vision,” a series of European vintage photographs from the collection; new works by names like Ibrahim Mahama, Doug Aitken, and Julie Mehretu; works by masters like Willem de Kooning and Nancy Rubins, and more.
