The elegant Hermès store in Dosan Park offers the latest in the maison’s collection, as well as an exclusive café and a modern art exhibition space, Atelier Hermès. For its Summer 2022 window display, Jackson Hong was inspired by the brand’s Splash Park women’s shawl, designed by Jacqueline Colley, in which the thrilling and fictional Hermès Water Park is illustrated in colorful detail. The equally vibrant window displays soothe the soul with the newest Hermès clothing designs set against landscapes of winding water slides, sunny beaches, and swaying palm trees. Inside, visitors will discover “The Burning Love Song,” a multi-disciplinary solo exhibition from artist Sungsil Ryu, currently on view through October 2. Artistic Director Soyeon Ahn presents the artist’s compelling satirical work—an expressive commentary on her acute observations of Korean consumerism.
