BIOGRAPHY

Ana Novi is a London-based cultural journalist, editor, and art critic whose writing explores how art mediates histories, materialities, and systems of value across time and place. With a degree in Archaeology and Anthropology from the University of Oxford and an MSc in Management from London Business School, she brings an interdisciplinary perspective to visual culture—grounded in research, lived experience, and a background at Christie’s. Her reporting spans major art fairs and biennials—including Art Basel, BRAFA, Frieze, and the Venice Biennale—where she investigates how artists, galleries, and collectors navigate evolving structures of taste, meaning, and reception. Drawing on visual analysis, curatorial dialogue, and economic insight, she traces patterns in perception, collecting, and material transformation. Ana’s writing reflects a belief that art can clarify, challenge, and reorient how we see the world—fostering greater discernment, connection, and care across both public and private spheres.
