Luxury menswear brand Berluti has partnered with collector and long-time client François Blanc to create an exhibition to coincide with Art Basel Miami Beach week. Opening yesterday, the show will be held at Berluti’s Design District location, and will feature pieces from Blanc’s collection including an Aladdin light table by Haygarth, a wall shelf by designer Andrea Branzi, a bronze cat lamp from Studio Job, and a Sebastian Brajkovic chaise longue from the Lathe collection. These and other pieces from Blanc’s personal collection will be shown alongside his equally beloved and impressive collection of Berluti shoes, bags, and satchels.
The collector discovered the brand about 20 years ago when he was introduced to artistic director Olga Berluti through mutual friends, and has been an avid fan since. Blanc said of the collaboration, “Art and fashion are two areas that have always been able to complement and enrich each other… Both my collection of Berluti pieces and my artworks reflect my taste, which mixes an artistic engagement, respect for tradition and a constant search for modernity.”
