Ditre Italia has partnered up with Studio Joe Colombo in designing the Cart armchair, which made its grand debut at Salone del Mobile in Milan this month.
Colombo, one of Italy’s world-renowned craftsman, originally designed the blueprint for the armchair in 1966. The drawings of the chair were supplied by the designer’s assistant and now head of he studio, Ignazia Favata.

Throughout his career, the industrial craftsman focused on ergonomic of seats and functionality of objects, which is conveyed in Cart. The 2016 model is available in two colors, retaining the intended design and hues carried out by Colombo.
