The fifth annual “Lexus & Whitewall Art and Design Innovation Series” took place this week virtually and on screens at Design Miami/ this week. The program of panels was kicked off with, “Finding the Creative Spark in Quarantine,” with moderator and founder of Le Car Tamara Warren in conversation with designer Ini Archibong, Katharina Mischer of mischer’traxler, and designer Angel Chang.
Isolation and anxiety aren’t necessarily the magic ingredients for inspiration. With so much unknown, how are artists and designers finding the time to dream? The panelists shared their own experience of grappling with the new normal, while figuring out a way to find the light again.
