Last week, the Molteni Group hosted a private dinner party in celebration of its newest flagship store located at 160 Madison Avenue. President of the group Carlo Molteni, alongside guests like Whitney Robinson and Amy Astley, began the evening with an in-store cocktail before enjoying a candlelit dinner and breathtaking views of Manhattan atop the roof of the NoMad Hotel.
The space was designed by Vincent Van Duysen, who describes the project as something that “brings Italian style and elegance into a classic New York building.” The Madison Avenue location also showcases a selection of artwork by a variety of modern artists like Santo Tolone and Stephen Felton. The collection, which was curated and commissioned by Caroline Corbetta, is meant to embody the idea of an art collector’s house, in which art and design create and ecosystem where each enhances the other.
