By Pearl FontaineItalian furniture brand Molteni&C|Dada recently opened its latest boutique—a new flagship in Los Angeles. Designed by the house’s creative director, Belgian architect Vincent Van Duysen, the 7,600-square-food West Hollywood boutique is situated across two levels and features a fluid architectural plan reminiscent of a modernized Italian villa.
Outside, guests at the flagship are greeted with a floor-to-ceiling wooden door, accompanied by a glass façade that allows for views of a sitting area with a travertino fireplace and an elegant kitchen setup—the brand’s Highline Frame Door Dada kitchen. Upon entering, visitors will find interiors inspired by the houses of the great mid-20th century architects, composed of sophisticated materials like marble, palladiana stone, and black oak, accompanied by warm golden hues and suspended wooden ceilings that divide the space into separate rooms.

On the ground floor, Molteni Group’s iconic pieces—like creations by Gio Ponti and designs from the “Heritage” collection—are showcased in domestic settings, along with the brand’s latest offerings. And from a discreet courtyard at the center of the store, guests can ascend to the second floor and explore a private lounge and its all-immersive brand experience, complete with a Slide Armani Dada kitchen.
