During Salone del Mobile this month, Cassina presented its new collection in an exhibition space designed by Patricia Urquiola, drawing inspiration from the Rietveld Pavilion.
The brand exuded a contemporary attitude mixed with a minimalist approach reflected in the new collection. Urquiola’s Gender armchair is an individual piece that is characterized by being neither traditional nor modern.

The theme of abstract arrangements was particularly prevalent the ongoing Deadline collection of mirrors, designed by Ron Gilad. Each mirror features a strong architectural presence and intends to merge illusion and reality.
Other highlights from the fair included in Konstantin Grcic’s Prop collection of abstract arrangements, Charlotte Perriand’s Gueridon J.M. multi-functional table, and Rodolfo Dordoni’s Boboli collection of tables.
