The Top of The Standard sparkled Monday night, May 17, in honor of Design Hotels’ 20th-anniversary book launch (The Standard being one of the 250 independent hotels under the Design Hotels umbrella)
Founded by Claus Sendlinger in 1993, Design Hotels are known for their exceptional balance of architecture, design, service, and functionality. Each hotel is handpicked and one-of-a-kind, oozing with a passion for everything design and experience.
Design Hotels launched this new book in a celebration of progress. At 800 captivating pages it covers each member hotel and the development of the company. A few of our favorite spaces featured are the exotic Rockhouse Hotel located on the volcanic Jamaican coastline and the picturesque Cambria nestled deep in a valley of the Swiss Alpine village of Adelboden.
The book is available in two versions, coffee table and a special XXL format. The second version is so deserving of a place to call its own that Design Hotelsenlisted Finnish design brand, Artek, to create a table specifically made to display the limited-edition, XXL book. The table comes complete with matching stool so admirers can sit and explore 40 countries of breath-taking hotels.
