Cashmere, leather, sheepskin, and suede all played a big role in Bally men’s fall/winter 2014-15 collection. The classic, luxurious, and rustic pieces gear towards daytime and weekend-wear, but could easily transition to nighttime affairs of any sort. There was lots of high collars, oversized turtlenecks, and scarf action, which we loved.
The collection features an unlined cashmere jacket, a leather puffer jacket, and deerskin hunting jacket with an inside lining of warm sheepskin. The accessories were just as chic-meets-tough as the apparel, with thirties-style dress shoes tied with silk laces, calf’s leather sneakers for sporty day use, and sturdy climate-friendly bags of all sorts for any kind of environment made from waterproof suede, deerskin, and calf’s leather.
Colors stayed neutral with everything down to a scarf in shades of beige, grey, black, brown, and a touch of a deep red. The prints were barely there and as quiet as could be.
