The 25-piece launch introduces some of the house’s signature silhouettes, favorite prints, and iconic motifs. It includes a tailored double-breasted jacket for men, as well as an oversized houndstooth pattern for women. Complimentary gold and yellow tones appear in many of the garments, giving the collection a “light and sensual twist for the warmer summer days and nights that lie ahead,’’ as Balmain creative director Olivier Rousteing said in a statement.
The release, out last week, appears in a dedicated editorial campaign directed by Mytheresa global director Julian Paul, captured by Jana Gerberding in Berlin and modeled by Jessie Bloemendaal, Michelle van Bijnen, and Malcolm Kelechi.
