Cadet Commands Strong Presence at NYFWM

By Allison Merchant

August 2, 2016

This military-inspired fashion brand definitely marches to it’s own drum beat. During New York Fashion Week Men’s, Cadet commanded the catwalk with its spring/summer 2017 menswear collection.

The collection resonated a strength that was captivating with its clean lines and dark colors. A palette of navy blues, greys, and blacks curated an elegant simplicity. Bold chest baring shirts, high colored trenches, and pattern pops created a unity within the collection.

The Brooklyn-based brand hit its fifth year right on target. Crisp and quality pieces in the collection reflected the overall mission of the brand. After all the models stood in formation on the catwalk and marched left, then right for the finale, audience members stood at attention applauding the masterful creations of Raul Arevalo and Brad Schmidt.
