All hail the queen—of diamonds that is. The fine jewellery company De Beers honored its origins with its first collection designed to tribute the city of London. The historic maison collaborated with photographer Mary McCartney to encompass the essence of London alongside the women of De Beers.
Five sets were crafted in homage to the architecture and culture of the city. The London View showcases the entertaining sight of the London Eye with shimmering pear-cut diamonds. Elizabeth Tower resembles the renamed St. Stephen Tower, referencing the current queen’s prestige and regality with round princess baguette diamonds in addition to pear cut.
The Battersea Light is as powerful as it’s namesake, the Battersea Power Station with the necklace containing a micro-pavé bezel setting. Crossing the Albert Bridge the landscape illuminates from oval, marquise, emerald, and round diamonds. And when winding along the Thames Path, follow the guide of a series of graceful diamond lines. Traversing through the streets of London has never been more elegant.
