Creative Director Hillary Taymour left no stone unturned when it came to embracing the vitality of life through decadent design details. Guests lingered happily in the ebb and flow of ruffles, were entranced by expert smocking, and reveled in a verdant palette that gleamed like a meadow after fresh rain. Come hither, earthy shades and patterns found new purpose in unforgettable garments like the Waterlily Mini Dress of Floral Ocean Chiffon, the Dante Jacket in Black Satin, and the Iris Top in Deadstock Peach Plaid Flannel.
Diotima Unveils a Cinematic Kaleidoscope of Warm Caribbean Memories
Rachel Scott’s amorous Spring/Summer 2025 collection for Diotima, titled “Déjà vu,” played out as a kaleidoscope of warm memories. Inspired by cinematic moments in the Caribbean, an intimate and energetic catwalk with dancehall melodies spoke to the dreamlike magic of Jamaica. Hems humming with lace details and swaying broderie anglaise were seen cascading down jeans and blouses. Models stunned in liquid-like satin dresses, enhanced by silver stud paillettes and sheer georgette skirts. The translucent organza halter top paired with a clean pencil skirt certainly caught our eye, as did the heaven-sent crystal mesh gowns.
Toteme’s Minimalist Fantasy for Summer 2025
Toteme offered a minimalist fantasy for Summer 2025, juxtaposing featherlight knitwear, proficient cotton tailoring, and gracefully embroidered tulle for the most perceptive and stylish city dwellers. A cool, monochrome palette favoring white, onyx, and citrine was made daringly sleek with accessories in frosty metallics. New avenues of marvelous potential were unearthed with supple fabrics of organic and recycled fibers and sculptural layers of compact viscose. A bright, new bag design was perfectly scooped, topped off with a darling wristlet strap. A bevy of shoes in must-have satin, suede, or nappa leather suited a range of personalities, while enigmatic tear-drop pendant necklaces added a magnetic dose of marvel and mystery.
