Jil Sander’s creative director Rodolfo Paglialunga put a new twist on super clean and slightly oversized silhouettes for its fall/winter 2016 collection. In staying true to the house founder’s style, this season’s looks were characterized by minimalistic tones and a monochrome color palette.
The striking line featured double-breasted coats, pantsuits, two-piece dressing, and asymmetrical silhouettes. Mixed in were Lurex knits paired with pencil skirt sets. The collection exuded confidence while maintaining an air of sensuality. Metallic curved cone heels accompanied the sleek looks, giving the collection a truly architectural, bold, and elegant finish.
