Zac Posen‘s spring/summer 2017 collection debuted in New York for fashion week, full of structured jackets, voluminous (and sometimes super mini) skirts, tailored pants, and gowns of surprising proportions.
“For Spring 2017 I envisioned a collection with the craftsmanship I am known for but made in technical fabrics to give it an airy feminine transparent and modern feel,” said Posen.

The designer employed bonded cotton, surgical mesh, glass bead embroidery, and jacquards in bright whites, yellows, pinks, and oranges. He lent his signature eye for construction to give motorcycle looks a feminine edge. Even the dresses and evening wear had gave a nod to the “easy rider” feel Posen strove for.
