Belvedere Hotel Mykonos Expands to Include Art, Food, and Fashion
This summer at Belvedere Hotel Mykonos, guests can experience a multitude of collaborations that span the culinary, fashion, and design worlds. Visitors of the property’s main location and its Hilltop site are treated to personalized care, tailored local tips, and a creative spirit that permeates each space. At first, a refreshed ambiance by Arman Naféei offers a serene and lively atmosphere filled with sleek design, warm materials, and specially-curated music.
A Restaurant to Write Home About
Last month, the hotel’s onsite restaurant, Matsuhisa Mykonos, celebrated the brand’s 20th anniversary with a party hosted by Nobu Matsuhisa himself. For a limited time, guests could also explore a limited-edition menu at its Omakase counter helmed by Chef Hideki Endo that reflect the brand’s expertise in Japanese cuisine. Special bites by Nobu chefs from around the globe were offered, alongside sumptuous brand classics—like the Black Cod with Miso and the Rock Shrimp Tempura—and a selection of timeless dishes, including nigiri, hand rolls, and more.
“Beyond taste, our mission is emotion; invoking joy, nostalgia, and wonder with every creation,” said Matsuhisa Mykonos Head Chef Vasilis Kalogeropoulos.
Introducing Exclusive “Sushi Club” Merchandise to the Town
Upstairs and inside the boutique, exclusive “Sushi Club” merchandise, created by Mr. Matsuhisa and the fashion designer Chris Stamp of STAMPD, punctuates the collaboration between the hotel and the restaurant. Seen around the globe to celebrate the brand’s dedication to culinary art and craftsmanship, the “Sushi Club” collaboration first began in 2021 in Beverly Hills and has since traveled to other locations where Matsuhisa restaurants operate—including Aspen, and now Mykonos. Offered in the space are expertly-designed garments and accessories, including corduroy hats and bomber jackets, for a limited time.
Belvedere Hotel Mykonos Boutique Brings the Design
In addition to the “Sushi Club” line, the boutique also features work by three local Greek designers—Danelian, Marianna Lemos, and Kalopsia—throughout the summer season. With a goldsmith workshop in Athens, Danielian features handmade jewelry, created with traditional techniques and the latest state-of-the-art technology. Marianna Lemos also offers jewelry pieces, with an emphasis on creations geared to the modern, independent woman. Elina Vasilaki’s line, Kalopsia, offers artistic ceramic creations inspired by Grecian design and extraordinary objects.
At the pool club, a colorful new mural by the renowned artist Luke Edward Hall acts as the space’s backdrop. Mirroring the area’s iconic pool scene with playful illustrations of color and charm, the piece visually explores the exceptional world of the hotel’s focus on entertainment, inspiration, and elegance.
Cue the Cocktails at Sunset
Beyond the terrace lounge, a relaxing summer night would not be complete without an unforgettable sunset view over the Aegean Sea. With a colling cocktail in hand, visitors to the awe-inspiring property are encouraged to drift into the abyss of tranquility, captured by the magnetic beauty of Mykonos.
