Artist James Jean Designs Johnnie Walker Bottle
Celebrate the start of 2024 by gifting a loved one a bottle of the new Johnnie Walker Blue Label. With its bottle created in collaboration with the artist James Jean, its latest design was inspired by a mighty Zodiac animal—the noble wood dragon, representing life, creativity, and prosperity. The design merges the artist’s Asian culture and inspiration with the brand’s mantra of “Keep Walking,” commemorating Lunar New Year, with spirit to celebrate the Year of the Dragon.
LOEWE’s New Candle, Scented with Ivy
LOEWE’s latest collection of home scents includes candles, sprays, and rattan diffusers created by Jonathan Anderson and the brand’s in-house perfumer, Nuria Cruelles. Together, they’ve created aromas focused on the essences of nature, which ensure sophistication and romanticism is in the air. Our personal favorite, the Ivy candle, showcases nature and the beautiful scent of ivy. Created with 100 percent vegetable wax and one cotton wick, its luxurious blend of aromas can burn for 30 hours. The exterior is just as beautiful, featuring a light pink glazed terracotta earthenware container.
Frédéric Malle and Perfumer Jean-Claude Ellena Debut Heavenly Scent
Frédéric Malle and the French perfumer, Jean-Claude Ellena, have launched their fourth collaboration, Heaven Can Wait. The development of the fragrance was chosen with specific ingredients—like clove, iris, and pimento—to make sure that those who wear it sense the elegance and sensuality of the scent. Through Jean-Claude Ellena’s rigorous fragrance training from an early age to Frédéric Malle’s stories legacy, Heaven Can Wait is a modern reinvention of a classic French perfume.
Orin Swift Cellars Pours “8 Years in the Desert”
Created by Orin Swift Cellars, a new blend of Zinfandel under the 8 Years in the Desert label features aromas of wild blackberry, pepper, black cherry and spices. This new label signifies an important achievement for this brand. Through its specially crafted flavors, 8 Years in the Desert retells the story of their eight year ban of creating Zinfandel wines. However, this “desert” gave them the necessary time to explore all the vineyards that California had to offer. They made the best out of a difficult situation. When it was finally time for them to come back, they wanted to make sure they honored the place where their story began.
Boochier’s Playful New Slinkee Ring
The “Slinkee” collection from Boochier is an homage to the infamous Slinkee toy. Debuted in 2022, it is inspired by the exciting times of childhood—the carefree moments that were full of color and life. The unique characteristics of the Spinel and Fanta Garnet Slinkee Icon Ring are a metaphor for how color can transform an ordinary object, proving to be a true conversation piece. The Spinel and Fanta Garnet Slinkee Icon ring features a gorgeous design, handcrafted in 18k recycled yellow gold, 1.5 carats of spinels, and 1.5 carats of garnets.
