Find some of the best spots in Miami for finding inspiration, seeing art, and more.

Capucine Milliot’s Favorite Spot to Find Inspiration

Anywhere along the ocean, especially on the islands during sunrises and sunsets, and amidst the people themselves and their magnetic energy. The cultural scene has really evolved with journalists, musicians, internationally acclaimed chefs, galleries, designers, and artists having relocated here, fostering a stimulating dialogue. Recently, I was captivated by the mystic splendor and vibrant palette of paintings by Alejandro Pinero Bello, an artist represented by the brilliant gallerist Katia D. Rosenthal (KDR305 in Allapattah).

The Best Off-the-Beaten-Path Place to See Art in Miami

Grab a bicycle and go get lost in the streets of Wynwood, MiMo, or Little Haïti. Miami has some of the best art collections: Rubell, Margulies, de la Cruz, that complement the ICA, the PAMM, and the NSU art museum Fort Lauderdale. The beautiful estate of Vizcaya, on the way to Coconut Grove, is also a gem. If you can experience the coast by boat, you will see some amazing sculpture gardens such as the Braman collection on Indian Creek.

There is a robust spiritual wellness scene here, with spaces such as “Modern Om” or “The Sacred Space,” and devoted healers such as the “cosmic goddess” Claudia Aros, with whom you can experience Reiki. Through Kundalini yoga, Sound bath healing, and Meditation, there is no shortage of opportunities for people to elevate their mind, body, spirit, and soul.
