Coinciding with the start of New York Fashion Week, Cartier launched its first ever traveling popup, “The Precious Garage,” in an event held at the Cartier Mansion on Fifth Avenue in New York.
Last Thursday evening, guests like Sofia Coppola, Simi and Haze Khadra, Marcel Floruss, and Lily Collins previewed the popup while enjoying champagne and hors d’oeuvres. Also in attendance was musician Lykke Li, who performed a set of her most popular songs.

A merging of art and mechanics, “The Precious Garage” is an installation spread across the three floors of the mansion conceived for the house by Desi Santiago. In the popup, the rebellious spirit of the “Écrou de Cartier” and “Juste un Clou” collections can be found showcased amid a selection of classic road trip and garage iconography, highlighted by futuristic gold surfaces and glowing neon details.
Open in New York through September 26, “The Precious Garage” will make its way to cities across the United States, where visitors will be able to experience the new collections and the world of Cartier.
