On Monday evening, Dior hosted a cocktail party in Miami to celebrate the unveiling of the “Dior Medallion Chair” exhibition at Superblue. For the U.S. unveiling, guests explored the collaborative series of works, which were originally reimagined by seventeen artists from around the globe earlier this year at Salone del Mobile in Milan.

Inspired by Louis XVI, the chair was first chosen by Christian as seating for his couture shows, since becoming a design legacy for the house. Today, the chairs have been yet reimagined with futuristic materials and shapes that capture the spirit of contemporary creative minds. For the rendition, the chair’s signature oval backing and adornments were reimagined by talented creators from around the world, including artists whose chairs are present in Miami like Linde Freya Tangelder, Constance Guisset, Khaled El Mays, and nendo.

Attendees who dazzled alongside the art in Dior and Dior men’s garments included Karlie Kloss, Venus Williams, Ricky Martin, Lucas Jagger, Jackson Myles, Mia Moretti, Claire Marie Rutledge, Sai de Silva, Coco Bassey, Tanner Reese, Eric Jess and Madelynn Furlong. Other notable attendees included Sam Baron, Ignacio Carbonell Ivars, Emiliano Salci and Britt Moran, Khaled El Mays, Atang Tshikare, Pierre Yovanovitch, Gisela Colón, Jwan Yosef, Valeria Lipovetsky, Jen Ceballos, Micaela Erlanger, and more.
