On Monday, the Web3 entertainment brand Starcatchers, founded by Maurice Morales, held a party curated by agency No. 9 at PEAK. There to kick off NFT NYC and celebrate their newest art release, headed by Arial Jade, as well as their recently released American Eagle capsule collection, were friends, family, curators, collectors, and more. Guests were treated to DJ sets by nft now founder Matt Medved, DJs Angel & Dren, and a surprise performance by the Canadian DJ A-Trak.
Swiss luxury watchmaker Vacheron Constantin unveiled two new Overseas skeleton timepieces at a private estate in Beverly Hills on Wednesday, featured alongside an immersive new short film by Louis Schwartzberg, “The Anatomy of Beauty®”. Guests were treated to the exquisitely crafted and curated organic beauty of Vacheron Constantin watches, echoed by the lush natural space of the event.
That same day, High Line Art and Audemars Piguet Contemporary held a breakfast in Manhattan to celebrate “Windy,” a new work by the New York-based Moroccan artist Meriem Bennani. The event featured a conversation with Benneni, High Line Art director and chief curator Cecilia Alemani, and Audemars Piguet Contemporary curator Audrey Teichmann.
That evening, KRUG STUDIO held a party in their outdoor lounge space in Los Angeles. Guests were treated to live music curated by composer Ozark Henry and culminated with the performance of 195 musicians. The soundscape enriched their unveiling of the new Krug Grande Cuvée 170ème Édition and explored Cellar Master Julie Cavil’s inspirations behind the champagne. Chef Jordan Kahn of Destroyer offered delectable pairings alongside signature glasses of Krug.
Also that night, FOMO MOFO held an NFT NYC event at Chapel Bar. Guests—including Leah McSweeney and Bun B—danced and toasted the new launch, enjoyed cocktails (including negronis and margaritas) customized for the event, and were finally treated to mentalism and magic by Josh Beckerman, also known as Foodie Magician.
Last Thursday, Alessandro Ambrosio and Patricia Bonaldi, founder and Creative Director of Brazilian couture brand PatBO, celebrated the launch of their first sixteen-piece limited-edition capsule collection with a dinner at Fasano, sponsored by Cincoro. Guests—including Cara Chen, Olivia Ponton, Michelle Salas, Cara Santana, Lexi Wood, and Marina Larroude—toasted to the vibrant energy and empowering handicraft of PatBO.
That Thursday, The Standard, High Line, Grindr, and NYSocialBee hosted a party to celebrate the newest iteration of Pride x Boom and commence a weekend-long program of parties and events at the hotel. Guests including Alaska Thunderfuck, Billy Eichner, Bowen Yang, Christian Bendek, Christian Siriano, and Eli Brown danced in full costume to the music of DJ Mazerbate until the early morning hours, showcasing their interpretations of the theme “Liza with a Gen Z does Dangerous Liaisons: A Space Odyssey” as disco balls sparkled overhead.
And this Saturday, back at The Standard, High Line, The Blonds is taking over the Boom Boom Room for another Pride event. Presented in collaboration with Motorola Razr, guests—like Susanne Bartsch, Tinashe, Mazurbate, Maye Musk, and Ty Hunter—are expected to celebrate the return of Pride Month with a limited-edition couture lanyard created by the fashion brand, with all proceeds benefiting New York City Anti-Violence Project.
