For this week’s “Keeping Time” we chose Breitling‘s Transocean Chronograph Unitime watch in steel with a polar white dial. The timepiece also comes in a red gold case, black dial, and leather strap but we much prefer the former.
We see its steel bracelet as a chic, contemporary, and aesthetically preferable alternative to the more common, chunkier steel link straps. And we love the look of steel-on-steel-on-white with the dial’s ice blue globe.
And what’s the globe doing there? It’s a signifier for the watch’s remarkable ability to provide instant time-telling in all 24 time zones – “universal time” – due to its double disk. The local date automatically adjusts, as well.
You’ll love how the Breitling Transocean Chronograph Unitime keeps you “in the zone,” too, if you’re traveling between New York, Paris, London, and Milan for fashion week’s this month; starting your yearly international art fair tour; or heading from SIHH to Baselworld.
