Natalia Vodianova, model and philanthropist, hosted the Naked Heart Foundation’s fourth Love Ball on July 28 at the Salle Garnier of The Opera in Monaco. This year’s notable attendees included Karl Lagerfeld, Harvey Weinstein, Mario Testino, and Margherita Missoni.
A charity fundraiser patronized by H.R.H. Prince Albert II, H.S.H. Princess of Monaco and H.R.H. Princess of Hanover, the Love Ball raised a total of 4.25 million dollars. The funds benefit the Naked Heart Foundation as well as Amade Mondiale, the World Association of Children Friends. Both charities focus on giving aid to underprivileged and vulnerable children.
The event consisted of performances by St. Petersburg’s Mariinsky orchestra and ballet and an after-party, yet some of the most exciting activities were the ones being auctioned. Guests bid for opportunities such as a private tennis lesson with Rafael Nadal, a sitting with Mario Testino, and an internship with Karl Lagerfeld at Chanel.
