In an epic toast to its illustrious, mountaineering roots, as well as its mastery of wintertime high style, Moncler invited skiers and après-ski enthusiasts alike for a poetic runway show in the crisp open-air.

Last weekend in St. Moritz, the Moncler Grenoble fall/winter 2024 collection debuted in a majestic forest surrounding the iconic Clavadatsch lodge. In an epic toast to its illustrious, mountaineering roots, as well as its mastery of wintertime high style, the brand invited skiers and après-ski enthusiasts alike for a poetic runway show in the crisp open-air.

Through their respective headphones, guests were immersed in a lyrical soundscape set to the regality of models strutting through the snow in the brand’s latest cold-weather offerings.

An Homage to Moncler’s Technical Prowess and Captivating Style Unfolds in St. Moritz

In 1968, Moncler was selected as the official provider of impeccable performance-wear for the French national alpine ski team during the Grenoble Winter Olympic Games. Throughout the years, the distinguished French luxury brand has protected expert mountaineers on their expeditions in Alaska, K2, and Makalu—becoming a byword for unparalleled technical prowess married with captivating style.

In luxurious hues of glittering ice and angelic white snow, intermeshed with the earthy tones of mother nature’s bounty, a peaceful yet striking collection unfolded. Multi-dimensional intarsia was reminiscent of the time-honored craftsmanship seen in traditional quilt blankets. The geometric patterns journeyed through high-tech jackets and sheepskin embellishments, producing kaleidoscopic effects evoking Aran knit stitchwork on sweaters, caps, and coats.

Figure-hugging, ivory jackets were cinched at the waist for a curvaceous effect, with hypnotic, tactile patterns recalling both snow-covered mountain ranges and swirls of whipped cream atop a hot cocoa nightcap.

AI and Handcraft Unite for Innovations in Chic Fireside Looks and Skiing Essentials

Fantastical innovations were spotted in comprehensive-knit duvets, virgin wool fringes, bountiful alpaca garments, and knee-high furry boots. In a riveting combination of AI and human skill, laminated flannel, elongated crochets, and stitch embroideries washed over cozy, fireside looks and skiing essentials, further spotlighting elegant new shapes and volumes.

Chic outfits of head-to-toe onyx reflected the watchful sky above, while bolts of red, white, and blue sparked a united vision of past, present, and future in the enduring artistry of Moncler.
