WANT Les Essentiels de la Vie’s spring/summer 2014 collection revives the brand’s classic and practical pieces with Baltic blue, bright yellow, and picas red in a matte canvas finish.
Remaining true to its utilitarian roots, rubberized leather handles and bottoms on backpacks are luxurious, long-lasting, and easy to care for.
New to the spring/summer line is a pencil shaving print designed by Textile Liberty Art Fabrics, based in London, which can be found both inside backpacks and as an exterior print.
The line features Turkish organic cotton that is recycled and reused from the factory floor, as well as caviar stamped leather for a grainy yet gleaming finish. Italian calf and French leather is at once supple and hardwearing, providing an enduring aesthetic that is useful for transitions from the workday to the night out.
Also fresh to the line is a large beach bag in beige and blue, as well as a long rectangle bag that can be folded into a clutch, making it the perfect two-in-one purchase.
