Last week in Miami, Whitewall continued its partnership with Lexus for the “Lexus Art Series: Art and Innovation Talks with Whitewall.” Now in its fourth edition, the series was held over two days, hosted at Design Miami/.
Rounding out the series of talks on Wednesday afternoon was “Sustainability as the New Business Model.” Founder of LeCar Tamara Warren moderated the conversation between Environmental activist Marina Testino, Founder of Azulik Tulum Roth Sterkel, Cofounder & Co-CEO of NotPla Pierre Paslier, and Curatorial Director of Design Miami/ Aric Chen. The topic of integrating sustainability into a brand’s broader mission was discussed alongside consumer demand for transparency, as well as how designers, artists, and creatives alike are well suited to address our current climate crisis.

Lexus was the official automotive partner for the fair for a second time, and this year presented “SUNSHOWER,” an installation designed by Nao Tamura featuring the LC Convertible Concept. The project was curated by Design Miami/ Curatorial Director Aric Chen and curator and author Maria Cristina Didero.
