Kunsthaus Baselland’s “Afterlight. Afterglow” examines the history and evolution of video installations through the eyes of 14 pioneers of the art form, including names like Nam June Paik, Karl Gerstner, Roy Lichtenstein, and Pipilotti Rist. Curated by Ines Goldbach and Käthe Walser, the selection of works on view spans the early days of video, dating back to the 1950s, up through the methods and technologies of the present.
