An Alphabet of Forms

On view at Pace Gallery through June 26, Lydia Benglis’s exhibition “An Alphabet of Forms” features six new large-scale sculptures. Created across the last three years, the works on view follow the artist’s investigation of knotted forms, which she has continued here by casting in bronze. Though made from metal, the surreal bodies twist and turn, entrancing the viewer with their unique qualities of liquidity and buoyancy.
