Through January 9, 2022 the Musée d’Art Moderne de Paris is presenting a retrospective of the artists Anni and Josef Albers. France’s first exhibition looking at the two creators as a couple, the show features over 350 works diving into both their intimate bond and their respective artistic endeavors. Opening with two emblematic works from each artist, the presentation follows through a selection of paintings, photographs, furniture, textiles, and drawings, a chronological recount of their lives and careers, including highlights like Anni’s Pictorial Weavings, Josef’s Homages to the Square, and a room dedicated to their work as teachers.
