Fondation Cartier has presented the world premiere of Artavazd Pelechian’s film work La Nature. Commissioned by the foundation and the German ZKM Filminstitut in Karlsruhe in 2005, the finished work is the product of 15 years in the making. Pelechian’s first film in 27 years, the La Nature observes the cohabitation of humans and their environments in a parallel to the director’s last film, Life, which debuted in 1993.
