Andy Warhol: Lifetimes

Eliza Jordan

22 December 2021

On view through March 27, 2022 at the Aspen Art Museum is “Andy Warhol: Lifetimes,” a traveling exhibition that originated at Tate Modern, London. Since traveling to the Museum Ludwig, Cologne, and Art Gallery of Toronto, the show is structured here to examine the artist’s life parallel to his work. By presenting both sides of the man and the artist, “Andy Warhol: Lifetimes” expands our understanding of Warhol through archival materials, sourced material, and dynamic installations. For the show, the artist Monica Majoli was invited to re-conceptualize the staging of it, featuring lesser-known works in dialogue with iconic Warhol pieces.
