As part of its 20th anniversary celebrations, the Savannah College of Art and Design Lacoste location is showing “Azzedine Alaïa: L’Art de la Mode,” a collection of pieces from famed designer Azzedine Alaïa. The exhibition was organized with curator Olivier Saillard, the director of Fondation Azzedine Alaïa, and will be on display through October 29. “L’Art de la Mode” presents 20 timeless works of fashion from Alaïa, showcasing the Tunisia-born designer’s skill in silhouette, cut, and proportion. “L’Art de la Mode” marks the second showing of Alaïa’s work from SCAD FASH after the SCAD FASH Museum of Fashion + Film in Atlanta showed “Alaïa-Adrian: Masters of Cut” in 2020.
