Claire Tabouret: I am spacious, singing flesh

Claire Tabouret’s exhibition of new works, titled “I am spacious, singing flesh,” is on view at the Palazzo Cavanis through November 27 as a collateral show of the 59th Venice Biennale. Curated by Kathryn Weir, the survey looks at the processes of transformation through 25 works dating back to 2004 (though most were made in the last decade). Including paintings, sculptures, videos, and works on paper, viewers are taken on a thoughtful investigation of identity, its subjectivity, and its construction.
