Honor Fraser Gallery’s exhibition “Digital Combines” centers Claudia Hart’s concept of the same name, featuring artworks by Hart and eight other artists. A spin on the term “Combines” from Robert Rauschenberg, Hart has proposed the concept of a “Digital Combine” as a work that encompasses two parts—a tangible object and its virtual counterpart. Featuring names like Nancy Baker Cahill, Tim Kent, LoVid, and Saya Woolfalk, the presentation (on view through April 2) includes a selection of paintings which are each attached to an immaterial entity—either a video, digital image, or sound—and bound together by NFTs.
