Along with the debut of its new showroom during Milan Design Week, design house Flexform introduced the latest offerings in its “Indoor” and “Outdoor” collections.
Made weather resistant with the hopes of enhancing your backyard experience year-round, the “Outdoor” debuts (designed by Antonio Citterio) include sophisticated neutral hues and shapes made to complement the outdoor surroundings so the user may peacefully enjoy nature. These pieces include designs perfect for dining al fresco or lounging on your idyllic patio, like the Desco Outdoor table (which features an unfussy, traditional design and options for a tabletop in wood slats, lava stone, porphyry, Beola argentata, or pietra del Cardoso), a simple, adjustable daybed lounger, and cozy cushioned seating—like the Crono Outdoor armchairs and a sofa called the Parker, made from iroko wood and hand-woven material.
Introduced in the “Indoor” collection, we saw several options for seating (including armchairs and sofas) and a suite of tables and larger pieces, which featured designs by Citterio, along with Roberto Lazzeroni and Christoph Pillet. Among these debuts, our favorites included the elegant Academy tables (round marble tops with three glossy wooden legs), the modular Perry sofa, with options for various configurations and upholstery, and the suite of Earl consoles and cabinets—minimalist containers with a long, low design, made with various options for wood and marble in order to perfectly match your space.
