France: Les communautés à l’œuvre

The French Pavilion invites us to explore French architect Christophe Hutin and his project “Les communautés à l’œuvre” (“Communities at work”), as well as other people involved with and projects related. The exhibition will be displayed at the 17th International Architecture Exhibition Venice Biennale 2021.

From Soweto to Bordeaux via Detroit and Hanoi, ‘Les communautés à l’œuvre’ aims to understand how we will live together in the future. The place of residents in how their environment changes is essential for Christophe Hutin, who uses this project to describe the meeting between an architect and residents’ life experiences.
