From September 2—5, Frieze Seoul will make its debut in South Korea at COEX, led by director Patrick Lee. Over 110 galleries from over 20 countries will present at the inaugural event. Frieze Seoul marks the renowned fair’s first venture in Asia and fifth international fair, and will introduce a section named Frieze Masters to showcase art through the ages. Focus Asia, curated by Christopher Lew and Hyejung Jang, will also present a selection of Asia-based galleries in the fair section. And beginning on August 29, the entire fair will be accompanied by a weeklong programming lineup.
