Beat the heat of a Texas summer by paying a visit to Conduit Gallery’s “Hot Damn!”. Open through August 22, the summer exhibition showcases the work of fifteen artists, including names like James Sullivan, Jeff Baker, Maja Ruznic, Justin Quinn, and Steven Miller, who work across mediums and genres. On view are works like Fahamu Pecou’s acrylic Sophisticated Ignorance a.k.a. They Gave Us Lemons, the ink, paper, and repair tape rules of engagement by Annabel Daou, and Anthony Sonnenberg’s porcelain on stoneware Pair of Grotto Candelabras (rainstorm).
