“In a Hollywood Bungalow,” an exhibition by Peter Shire, is on view at Dries Van Noten through July 31. As an early member of the Memphis Group, Shire continuously explores shapes, surfaces, technology, and aesthetics through playful experiments. His latest show at the fashion house’s gallery in Los Angeles features a selection of works that utilize diverse media, including furniture, ceramics, and toys to cross the borders of conventional painting and sculpture.
