Intersect Aspen is making its way back to the Rockies. The art fair will return to Aspen for its second in-person showing from July 31 to August 4 at the Aspen Ice Garden, showcasing 31 galleries from 21 cities across the globe. The fair brings together special programming alongside the exhibitions, including talks and tours led by artists. At the fair’s entrance, Earth Force Climate Command will install their Earth Pod while members of their artist group hand out Colorado wildflower seed bombs, encouraging others to join and care for the planet. VIP events include the Kick Off, Kick Ass Tour led by artist Marc Dennis and critic and curator Paul Laster and an opening brunch on July 31. Several galleries will be showing works created especially for Intersect Aspen, including pieces from Holland Cunningham and Xevi Sola. Artists such as Kelly Lynn Jones and Suchitra Mattai are scheduled to hold booth talks to discuss their latest works and inspirations.
