ISSEY MIYAKE: In the Making

ISSEY MIYAKE’s “In the Making” compares the maison’s creative process behind its brands, like IM MEN and A-POC ABLE ISSYE MIYAKE, with that of product design. Set across the two floors of its Milan boutique, visitors will find a celebration of creativity looking at the ways the fashion brand, as in the design process, considers the life of its wearer to craft items that accompany them through the everyday—seen through highlights like the convertible FLAT jacket, which can be carried as a backpack, or the TYPE-I project, made from the newly developed rice husk material Triporous.
