Katja Aufleger: GONE

Katja Aufleger’s “GONE” brings together works that play with themes of danger and destruction, created throughout the past decade utilizing mediums like video, glass, plastic, and even hazardous chemicals. On view at Museum Tinguely, visitors will find enticingly precarious works like NEWTON’S CRADLE, comprised of three glass containers filled with the substances needed to make nitroglycerin, suspended from the ceiling, and the 2017 LOVE AFFAIR—a video capturing bursting glass.
