Galerie Maria Bernheim inaugurates its temporary space on Mount Street in London with "Body Double." The group exhibitions features work by artists Sitara Abuzar Ghaznawi, Mitchell Anderson, Kyle Dunn, Ebecho Muslimova, Denis Savary, Bailey Scieszka, Sarah Slappey, and Rico Weber. The relationship between culture and the body is explored through paintings, sculpture, neon, installation, and more. Themes of beauty, gender, politics, and power are investigated through language, the figure, personal histories, and other perspectives.
"Early Paradise" features Kat Lyons's thought-provoking surrealist compositions, drawing from her upbringing on a small livestock farm.
Francisca Sosa López’s exhibition “…y nada, agarré mis peroles y me fuí” is open at London’s Pippy Houldsworth Gallery through February 12, 2022.
